Danai Children's Village aims to support the children with life skills which including farming for cash crops such as beans and vegetables. This will support the children to become self sufficient in future and to also develop the understanding that one cannot be idol and expect to eat. Hard work pays. Future plans also including the raising of chickens on a large scale and be able to supply and be a part of the food chain. Given an opportunity, Danai will benefit from cattle ranging starting from a few cows, breading them and developing a good cattle stock level which will mean the home can sustain itself in future.
